Bank Pasargad
Museum of Contemporary Visual Arts
Between 2019 and 2023, contributed to the development and management of Bank Pasargad’s Modern and Contemporary Art Collection, which comprises over 600 significant works by renowned Iranian and international artists. This role involved overseeing the organization, documentation, and database creation for the collection, ensuring its systematic and accessible presentation.
Additionally, played a key role in the transformation of the collection into a private museum, facilitating its preservation and making it accessible to the public. The Bank Pasargad Art Collection has become an essential cultural resource, reflecting the growing importance of modern and contemporary Iranian art.

Tajikistan Night
ECO Cultural Institute
Description: The ECO Cultural Institute, in collaboration with the Niavaran Artistic Creations Foundation and the Embassy of Tajikistan in Tehran hosted Tajikistan Night. The event featured the unveiling of the book Sattam Ulughzadeh and National Culture by Serajeddin Imamali, poetry readings by Iranian and Tajik poets, and speeches about the renowned Tajik writer Sattam Ulughzadeh (1911–1997).
Attendees also enjoyed a photo exhibition of Tajikistan’s notable figures, traditional handicrafts, and a performance of Tajik melodies by the Navaye Melal ensemble.

Venue: Gallery No. 2, Niavaran Cultural Center
Description: Organized by the Niavaran Artistic Creations Foundation in collaboration with the ECO Cultural Institute, this exhibition featured 75 photographs by Afghan photographers Mohammad Mousa Akbari and his daughter, Fatemeh Akbari. The works highlighted the beauty, culture, and daily life of the Afghan people during Ramadan.
Proceeds supported underprivileged children at the Ma’refat School and funded the release of an Afghan prisoner.

Workshop Title: “Auditory and Visual Narratives in Museums.”
Description: Hosted by Shahr-Ava Art Gallery in collaboration with the M.A. Museum Studies Department at the University of Art and the Iranian Museum and Conservation Association. This workshop introduced visual artists and museum professionals to curatorial approaches integrating auditory and visual narratives in contemporary art. Seven Colors of Love
Watercolor Workshop
This unique workshop combined the art of watercolor painting with the exploration of Iran’s seven musical modes (Dastgah). Led by renowned watercolor artist Mehran Yousofi, participants delved into the harmony of visual and auditory art forms.
About the Instructor: Mehran Yousofi, born in 1973 in Borujerd, was the founder of Iran’s first watercolor school. A celebrated artist with extensive experience, he had participated in numerous domestic and international festivals and had been recognized by the International Watercolor Society (IWS).

Haft-Seen of Musical Instruments

This exhibition showcased 20 musical works related to the traditional New Year’s songs (Nowruz Khani) from various regions and cities across Iran. The exhibition was hosted at ShahrAva Gallery within the Music Museum of Iran.
“Haft-Seen of Musical Instruments” is a unique concept in which the traditional Persian New Year’s table, Haft-Seen, is represented by Iranian musical instruments such as the Santur, Sorna, Setar, Senj, Sutak, Senjak, and Soroody (a Balochistani instrument). Visitors can experience this cultural celebration through the sounds of Nowruz music, represented by 20 musical pieces displayed as panels around the gallery.

Techniques in Collage, Texture, and Mixed Media
Artist / Instructor: Prof. Antonio Poce
Description: ShahrAva Gallery hosted a three-day workshop by renowned Italian artist and poet Prof. Antonio Poce, focusing on mixed media, collage, and texture techniques. Prof. Poce, director of the Centre for the Arts of the Italian Peninsula in Florence, is celebrated for his use of these techniques in creating impactful artworks. His work is inspired by both visual arts and poetry, with an appreciation for Iranian poet Sohrab Sepehri.
The workshop offered students and art enthusiasts the opportunity to learn advanced techniques directly from Prof. Poce. Participants received certificates, and an exhibition of selected works from the workshop was also held.

Mr. Botz, the German Cultural Representative, expressed support for cultural exchange between Iran and Germany. The exhibition emphasized Iranian artists’ connection to their cultural identity, with works inspired by traditional Iranian music and art.

Music with an Anonymous Beginning

Description: This exhibition, held at ShahrAva Gallery in collaboration with The Music Museum, the Cultural Section of the German Embassy, the IFA Institute, and the University of Germany, showcased the works of renowned German artist Sigmar Polke.
The opening ceremony took place on May 3, 2016, followed by a specialized workshop on May 17, 2016, conducted by Lilian Schultz, a university professor from Germany. The workshop focused on the influence of society and environment on Polke’s paintings, offering insights into the artist’s creative process and the social factors shaping his art.

Artist: Bijan Bijani
Description: This exhibition featured a diverse range of calligraphic styles, including Siah Mashq, Chalipa, Nasta’liq, Shekasteh Nasta’liq, and Calligraphic Painting.
In addition to his calligraphy, Bijani’s musical collaborations with renowned Iranian composers were also presented. Visitors had the opportunity to explore the second edition of his book, Nay and Ney, introduced with a preface by esteemed Iranian cultural figures and published in a premium edition.
This was the first exhibition held at ShahrAva Gallery, marking the beginning of its cultural and artistic activities.
